The radio stations in Indianapolis sure give a great treat to
the ears, that too with a lot of variety. This is probably one of
the few cities to have, so many radio stations dedicated to a
special genre of music. There are around thirty stations and
each of them is different from the other. The radio stations
are of such variety that stations such as Pop Hits station,
Classic Hits station, are some to illustrate this. Some of the
stations are also available online. Entertainment is at its
best with these stations and people have so many to choose
from and also tune into the ones that suits their moods and
tastes.
Another interesting thing to be noted is that, there are also
stations that are run by schools. Franklin Central High
School plays at 91.5 and Ben Davis High School plays at
90.9. These give a lot of opportunities for students to explore
into their field and also communicate to the outside world.
There are also stations dedicated for Christianity preaching.
The Public Broadcasting station keeps the people informed,
always and it is used for spreading awareness about social
issues and for broadcasting Public service announcements.
The station dedicated for playing old songs is a sure hit
amongst the people of the yesteryears. Therefore there are
a plethora of stations for the people of Indianapolis to tune
into. They can sit back and relax to listen to their favorite
genre, or listen to the current news or gain a lot of
information.
